Christmas party preparations

Here are some sure-fire tips for a successful, memorable holiday soiree.

Number 1- Music. For me it's the most important ingredient to a good party. The soundtrack needs to sets the mood. People will be laughing, smiling, conversating, moving, grooving, drinking, eating and straight up celebrating, if the soundtrack is right.

I'm not saying your party will suck but just choose a good DJ, could be difference between a good party and a forgettable party.

The peak Christmas party always turns into a celebration. That's why I've taken it upon myself to bring you

the highlights from our Christmas party extravaganza this year. I've attended four of the last five christmas parties.

It's like a fashion show, combined with a delicious dinner and also a gift exchange.

When it comes to partying, I'm pretty sure I'm a professional. My last job, on a cruise ship my job description was to basically be a

professional party starter.

Dustin (our morning show guy) has also worked in the cruise ship world before, so he knows all about getting a party on and poppin.

This is as close to an invitation as I can give you. If you see us out tonight, high-fives and hugs are encouraged.

I'm armed with a disposable camera, a fresh tie and enough christmas spirit to fill the entire Smithers civic centre.
